Dr. Humphrey Roberts
Dr. Humphrey Roberts
Dr. Roberts is the Owner-Practioner of The Wheeling Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, The Higgins Animal Clinic and The Roscoeview Animal Clinic. He has been a licensed Veterinarian for 28 years.
Dr. Roberts has a great deal of experience with all breeds of dogs, cats and exotics, including pot-bellied pigs, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and reptiles.
Dr. Roberts began his career in Veterinary Medicine at the age of 15, when he was hired by Dr. Higgins of the Higgins Animal Clinic in Chicago to work as a veterinary assistant. After graduating from Lane Technical high school, he attended University of Illinois, Chicago Circle campus. After graduation, he attended the University of Veracruz and received his degree in veterinary medicine in 1981.
Dr. Roberts and his wife, Joan, have two daughters, Lindsay and Alyssa. They also have a small menagerie of pets at home. In his free time, Dr. Roberts enjoys playing basketball and listening to music.

Dr. Laura Schwartz
Dr. Schwartz grew up in the area and has wanted to be a vet since she was very young. She attended the University of Illinois where she received a B.S. in Animal Sciences. She loved the Illini so much that she stayed to earn her degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Schwartz says that while working with puppies and kittens is always fun, she truly loves senior pets and gives them the extra attention they deserve.
Dr. Schwartz and her standard poodle, Callie, herself an older dog, live in Chicago, where Dr. Schwartz spends most of her free time with family and friends. She also aspires to learn to play tennis.

Dr. Hillary Weinstein
Dr. Hillary Weinstein
Dr. Weinstein was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She attended the University of Illinois, where she earned her B.S. in Animal Science and then her Veterinary Medical degree.
In her free time, she enjoys watching her favorite teams, the Bears and the Cubs, spending time with her family and friends, and cooking.
Dr. Weinstein and her yellow lab, Porter, live in Lincoln Park. Porter likes meeting new friends at the local dog park and swimming in Lake Michigan.

Dr. Lauren Tassone
Dr. Lauren Tassone
Dr. Tassone is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Wheeling Animal Hospital in the summer of 2009.
Dr. Tassone very much enjoys her career as a veterinarian, because she truly cares about pets and helping sick animals to get better. Her friendly, caring personality helps to put both the pets and their families at ease.
Dr. Tassone is married to an optometrist. The couple has a 4-year-old cat named Daniel, a black and white kitten named Kire(which is Dr. Tassone's husband's first name spelled backwards) and two box turtles, named Astro and Spike. In addition, she hopes to get a dog in the spring.
In her spare time, Dr. Tassone enjoys being with friends and family, running and eating Italian food.
