Higgins Animal Clinic

The Higgins Animal Clinic is housed in a brand new 18,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in the upscale Lakeview area, on Chicago's near north side.

Upon their arrival, owners are shown into a 3-story atrium building where they can relax with their pets and drink a cup of gourmet coffee, tea, or cocoa.

The Higgins Animal Clinic, established in 1952, has a 50-year reputation for providing quality pet care. Our patient roster includes  dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals and pot-bellied pigs.

At Higgins Animal Clinic,  prevention of disease is our main goal. Our belief is that prevention costs less than treatment.
Therefore, we recommend annual examinations, vaccinations, dental hygiene and other health safeguards.
