Working Through Pet Loss
Thursday
Thursday 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
This open educational group is dedicated to working through the emotional rollercoaster that can occur when we lose a beloved pet. Whether it is sudden or long-time coming, the permanence of a pet's death can take its toll on our emotional and physical well-being. Group participants will come together twice a month to explore the thoughts and emotions that are a natural part of the healing process.
The group facilitator, Mark Bilkey, has over 15 years of experience in guiding individuals through the loss and transition process and looks forward to helping participants at The Anti-Cruelty Society through this process.
The session will take place in The Anti-Cruelty Society education and training center. Enter from 169 W. Grand Avenue. Free parking is available in The Anti-Cruelty Society parking garage. Enter from Wells Street ½ block south of Grand Avenue.
There is no cost for this program, but please contact Tammie Bouschor to register at tbouschor@anticruelty.org or 312-644-8338 x.344.
