Megan - Receptionist
Megan has been a receptionist at the Wheeling Animal Hospital since November of 2002. She currently owns 2 ferrets, Chino and Chloe. She graduated from Wheeling High School and attended Harper College for several years where she majored in fashion design. Megan enjoys cooking, gardening, sewing, spending time outdoors, and watching Anime and other cartoons. In the future, Megan hopes to start her own business that produces ferret-related items.

Mary has been with Wheeling since 1991. She is married with 3 sons. In her free time Mary enjoys volunteer work, working with crafts and reading. She has 2 cats, Libby and Lana.

Rich - Office Manager
Rich is married with 1 son, and has worked for 33 years in various customer service capacities, including informations systems and pharmacy technician. In his spare time Rich enjoys playing golf and working with crafts.
Jess -Receptionist/Groomer
Jess joined the Wheeling Animal Hospital in February 2007. Besides being a receptionist she is also a full service groomer. Jess spends her down time playing with her dogs, Kodi and Teddi Bear, both rescue dogs, and her cats, Irish and Munchkin.

Gerardo - Assistant
Gerardo grew up on a farm in Mexico. He attended C.E.T.A. Centro de Estudios Agropecuarios en Santa Maria del Oro Durango. After graduation, he attended C.E.U. Centro de Estudios Universitarios de Monterrey, Nuevo Leon where he received his degree in Medico Veterinario Zootecnista. He has been working at Wheeling Animal Hospital since 1991. He lives with his wife, Claudia, two daughters, Natalie and Kaitlin, and a Yorkie whose name name is Rocko.
Antonio - Assistant
Antonio came from Mexico about 10 years ago. He has a parrot named Pepito and enjoys volley ball and jogging in his free time.

Jen earned a B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Urbana-Champaign in 2008. Shortly thereafter, she joined Wheeling Animal Hospital & Pet resort as a veterinary Assistant. She aspires to be a veterinarian and has applied to several veterinary schools for fall 2009. She is the proud parent to a senior mutt named “Sam” and a puppy named “Barley”

Janelle- Dog Training Instructor
About Janelle
Janelle earned a B.A. in journalism from Columbia College Chicago in 2001. Shortly thereafter, she became a certified, professional dog obedience training instructor through Animal Behavior College.
Janelle balanced a career in magazine journalism while teaching public classes at PetSmart for several years.
Recently, she left journalism in favor of focusing all her energy on her passion for dogs. She joined Wheeling Animal Hospital & Pet Resort in 2008.
She and her husband are parents to a boxer therapy dog named Tucker; a black lab named Carter; a sweet kitty named Ernie Banks; and a silly cat named Max.
