HERE'S BALTO!  A once in a life time guy - what can I say, this boy loves LOVE!  Balto is looking for a home with a family that would be very active with him.  He'd be a great running partner or with someone who loves to take long walks.  He really is a smart cookie, just needs a little brushing up on training.  He hasn't been introduced to other dogs yet, but we believe he'd do fine with them.  Come Meet This Love Bug Today!

This is Twix, one of our adoptables, who is a Chihuahua Mix, approximately 10 years of age.  Twix gets along great with other dogs, so if other animals are in your household, it shouldn't be a problem.  If you are looking for a senior lap dog, look no further.  He will give you hours of entertainment, keep your lap nice and warm and give many kisses.  Come meet this sugar coated cutie today!

This is Liam!  He was brought into the Wheeling Animal Hospital as a stray.  Almost 2 years old, this rough and tumble boy is looking for his forever home.  Liam needs a family that is willing to work with him on basic training and give him plenty of exercise.  He would need to be the only pet in the household because he doesn't like to share his toys or humans.  Come see this handsome boy today!

Everyone please meet Queen, a Mixed Breed, one and a half year old girl, who was picked up by the Wheeling Police Department.  Queen knows commands, is potty trained (never has any accidents), and would do well with children.  Yet Queen doesn't get along with other dogs or cats, she would need to be the only animal in the household.  She lives up to her name...Make Way For The Queen!

The True Godfather...or as we like to call him "Big Boy"!  Please meet Capone, a Pit Bull, who is approximately 2 years old.  He enjoys his cuddle times, and can't get enough belly rubs.  He has truly stolen all of our hearts.  Please come meet this old softy, and gentle soul today!!

Hey Everyone, I'd like you to meet Rusty.  A Pit Bull Mix, this goofy guy is approximately 2 years old.  He's a pretty playful boy who needs a family that is willing to work with him on basic training and give him plenty of exercise!  Rusty hasn't been tested with other dogs yet.  If you find it in your heart, I'm sure he'd fill your heart.  Come on in and see for yourself!

Greetings from Miss Hazel!  A very timid girl, Hazel will need a slow introduction with new people.  If you do, you will have a true friend for life!  She is a Pit Bull Mix, who is approimately 1 year and 10 months old.  She loves to run around and play with her toys.  It would be best if she was the only fur animal in the household.  Come see this diva today!

Make Way For Cosmo!  This Boxer Mix, who is approximately one and a half years old is a bundle of pure energy and love!  When Cosmo was first brought in to the Wheeling Animal Hospital, he did test positive for Heartworm.  He has now finished his final dosage and is ready to find his fur-ever home!  Come see this handsome hunk of love today!

Introductions are in order for our Brutus, a romping stomping brown Pit Bull mix.  He was brought in by the Wheeling Police Department as a stray.  He is  approximately 1 to 2 years old.  Brutus would love a big back yard to roam around in!  He will need a family that is willing to work with him on basic training and give him plenty of exercise.  Not only is it good for Brutus, but it is a great way to bond as a new family!  Come see this fetching young boy today!

Let's give a warm welcome to Figaro, a domestic short haired tuxedo cat, approximately 2 to 3 years old. This obviously was someone's cat that must of gotten out of their house. A construction worker noticed him sitting on a sewer hole cover one morning, and in the afternoon, Figaro was still sitting there. By night time he was at our facility having a nice meal and sleeping in a comfy bed! Still shy about his surroundings, I'm sure he'll come out of his shell soon! We have noticied that he is not a fan of other cats, so he would need to be the only animal in the household. Come see this handsome fellow today!

Hello, this is Roger, he's the new guy at Wheeling.  A strikingly handsome orage tabby, approximately two and a half years of age.  He's pretty set in his ways and would most likely do better as the only animal in the household.  Please give a little patience, space, and time, in order for him to gain your trust.  If you do, you will have a loving furever friend!

Everyone this is Teresa!  She's a 7 year old domestic medium haired feline, who is front paw declawed!  It's very lucky that the person who found her knew that black is beautiful and not unlucky.  She is super chill, and loves basking in the sun and most of all being loved on!
