BENITO & SELENA

Hola, this is Benito & Selena, both 2 year old Chihuahua's, who came to Wheeling undernurished, scared and unkempt.  Horacio, one of our Kennel Staff went to work and did his magic, and now they both are healthy and happy.  They must be adopted together, I repeat we will not separate either one of them.  If you're looking for two little rugrats, look no further!

RUSTY

Hey Everyone, I'd like you to meet Rusty.  A Pit Bull Mix, this goofy guy is approximately 2 years old.  He's a pretty playful boy who needs a family that is willing to work with him on basic training and give him plenty of exercise!  Rusty hasn't been tested with other dogs yet.  If you find it in your heart, I'm sure he'd fill your heart.  Come on in and see for yourself!

PHOENIX

Hello Everyone, this is Phoenix, our little ray of sunshine!  He is a tan, 10 month old, Pit Bull who was brought into our facility by our trusted Wheeling Police Department who found him roaming the streets.  Even though he had a chain collar on him, no dog tags nor microchip were found.  Phoenix is a ball of energy, that will require a person who's willing to work with him on basic training and give him plenty of exercise.  Our Kennel Staff is working hard on teaching Phoenix commands such as sit, stay.  He does well with other dogs, and loves his toys!  Lets hang out sometime!!

CANELA

Hi There!  My name is Canela.  I am a sweet senior female Chihuahua.  I am very loyal and would love nothing more than to be by your side.  I will be your little shadow and follow you all around.  I am a little shy...so I will need a calm, quiet household with a patient owner/family to help me adjust.  Will you let me into your heart?

BRUTUS

Introductions are in order for our Brutus, a romping stomping brown Pit Bull mix.  He was brought in by the Wheeling Police Department as a stray.  He is  approximately 1 to 2 years old.  Brutus would love a big back yard to roam around in!  He will need a family that is willing to work with him on basic training and give him plenty of exercise.  Not only is it good for Brutus, but it is a great way to bond as a new family!  Come see this fetching young boy today!

CLOVER

I'm looking over a four leaf clover...Take a look at this handsome fella - His name is Clover!  He is a Domestic Short Haired, approximately 7 years of age.  He gets along great with other cats and would be a perfect fit into any family!  Don't let this one get away!

EDWARD SCISSOR PAWS

Introducing Mr. Edward Scissor Paws, he is a very sweet and gentle boy, who is approximately 4 years old. He loves to be petted and will brush up against your hands and legs, yet he will let you know when he's had enough. He prefers having his humans to himself and will not share them with any other pets. If you're looking for a calm, cool companion, look no futher.

SWEETY

This is Sweety - an almost 10 year old Calico gal, who was adopted through our W.A.G.S. Program several years ago. Unfortunately, she was brought back to us, because her owner passed away. The poor thing was completely heartbroken and shut down. Our Kennel Staff has been working with her and she's starting to come out of her shell. If you're looking for an older cat, who has many more years of love to give, please come see this sugar coated cutie, today!

MISS PENELOPE

Make Way For The Queen!  Miss Penelope says Good Day and Meh.  Meh - is her Meow!!  Approximately 6 years and 7 months old, this beauty with her gorgeous eyes, has plenty more years of enjoyment.  Weighing in at 14.13 lbs. she was well fed and now on a diet.  Sadly she was found by a citizen who noticed her in a cat carrier next to a garbage dumpster. Thankfully she is with us now!  She's too new that we haven't tested her with other cats yet.  Queenie is waiting patiently for her new home...could it be yours?

 TERESA

Everyone this is Teresa!  She's a 7 year old domestic medium haired feline, who is front paw declawed!  It's very lucky that the person who found her knew that black is beautiful and not unlucky.  She is super chill, and loves basking in the sun and most of all being loved on!
